Q. How to use Anonymity Gateway with Firefox?

       A. By default, Anonymity Gateway configures Internet Explorer. To surf anonymously using other browsers, go to the browsers section and make sure the desired browser is checked and configured.

Q. Does Anonymity Gateway work with IRC or p2p?

       A. No, Anonymity Gateway only works with Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and Netscape. All applications that work with HTTP proxy servers (like download managers) can be configured to work with Anonymity Gateway. When Anonymity Gateway  is enabled it acts as a proxy server on 127.0.0.1 and on port 8080.

Q. Where can I check my IP address on the Internet?

       A. you can check your IP using the following websites: http://whatismyipaddress.com/, http://www.whatismyip.com/ or http://www.privacy-gateway.com/anonymitygateway/whatismyip.php/

Q. Do I need to pay if I upgrade to a new version of the software?

       A. Anonymity Gateway licensing policy is based on yearly subscription. For one year all upgrades are FREE and after this, to continue using our product you will have to renew your license. The renewal price si 50% discounted.

Q. What payment methods do you accept?

       A. Beside the online payment, considered the most convenient one, we also accept wire transfer based on an invoice containing our bank information. For the online payment we provide evaluators to choose from 3 payment providers: Share-it, Avangate and PayPal.

Q. Can I use one license code on two computers?

       A. Privacy-Gateway programs are licensed on a "per-computer" basis. This means that you have to purchase a license for each separate computer that it will be installed or used on, regardless the number of people using the computers.
